It's been off getting the AC system sorted out. Everything goes back together and it should be all fixed up. Of course, if the rain doesn't let up here in SF, it might be a few more days before it comes back home.

Kinja'd!!!

Shown here: definitely not just before a race. Nope.

Just north of Paso Robles. Indian Valley Road I think.

The owner was really nice. There were a lot of 911s. Here's another one that was pretty seriously modified. I think most of them were from LA or the OC.

wow... really a bit jealous of your e9. what is it exactly? 3.0?

what kind of driving schedule do you have for it? weekends only? the roundel on the c pillar is one of the most unique and interesting design signatures.

The mechanicals aren't stock at all. It's running an S38 from an M5, among other upgrades.

Just out of interest, which S38 are you running? I get the feeling you've said before, but I can't remember :S

There was some question about that originally. I sourced it from a guy who races old CSL race cars when he realized it wouldn't work in his car due to race rules. It started out as an S38B35 I think from an early US E34 M5 (the car was wrecked but the drive train was intact, this was well before my involvement) and had it bored out to a 3.7. Enough power for the E9 chassis at any rate.

Nope. I sort of philosophically disagree with doing that for road cars.

I can see that side of things. It's not about numbers, it's about the experience. Til I've actually got my Spit on the road, numbers is all I've got :S
